Quarterback (QB) - Player Rankings

At SportsOverdose, we gather as much information for our positional rankings as possible so you don’t have to. We’ve taken 7 expert rankings from around the web - Yahoo! Sports (Y!), ESPN (ESPN), CBS (CBS), NFL.com (NFL), FFToolbox.com (FFT), Fantasy Football Xtreme (FFX) and Fox Sports (FOX) - and combined them into groups (using a statistical clustering algorithm, it groups the players based on the distance from their rankings to the other players rankings). The groupings put players that are generally considered to be the same category of player together.

The resulting rankings reflect the opinions of 7 different fantasy experts, which let’s face it, is much better than one. These rankings are also a good blueprint for how to draft. For example, if you are looking for your 2nd WR and are already to the Group 5 players, with most of those players being available, chances are you could probably wait a pick and take someone at the lower end of Group 5 without sacrificing too much production. At the same time by waiting you would be securing someone better at another position.
